The KU Card Center is responsible for the issuance and management of the KU Card, which is the official University of Kansas identification for students, faculty, staff, and other members of the KU community. We report to the Vice Provost for Administration and Finance.
The KU Card provides access to university facilities, services, cash convenience, and more. Approximately 17,000 – 18,000 new and replacement cards are produced annually. In addition to the KU Card, we issue departmental copy cards and badges, and ID cards for members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. We also assist the Library with issuance of the library borrower card.
Other responsibilities include: software/hardware installation and maintenance; technical support and consulting; merchant settlement; program design and maintenance; and program marketing.
